The black currant wine is our bestseller and favourite of them all. This heavenly ambrosia contains no added alcohol and tastes just like freshly picked berries. The black currant wine with its typical aroma and a moderate level of alcohol (11,5 %) is ideal for getting tipsy and relaxing.
HOW TO DRINK BLACK CURRANT WINE
The possibilities are limitless when it comes to drinking this divine nectar. When accompanied with few ice cubes it becomes a great buddy for hot summer days. When heated to 60 °C (and don’t you dare to kill it by boiling it!) the smoothest and fullest mulled wine is created. No additional spices needed, nor recommended.
FRUIT WINE AND FOOD PAIRING
The black currant wine pairs well with red meat (especially steaks), emmental cheese, fish and cheesecake. It elevates your dinner to another level. Just beware of poppy seeds. It makes the wine taste funny.
When you run out of sherry or red wine while cooking, do not panic! Just open the bottle of black currant wine and save the situation. And do not forget to pour yourself a glass. You deserve one. Or two.
Our black currant wine is most comfortable in a cool, dry, dark place. It hates direct sunlight, just like vampires. It will survive in your fridge several days after the grand opening, but we strongly recommend drinking it immediately because, you know, YOLO.
We use the good quality cork to keep the genie in the bottle. Therefore it will survive up to 12 months in your storage room. But do not keep him in there for that long or he will get bored.
