ABOUT GOOSEBERRY WINE
It is simply one of a kind. You will experience original fruit wine, mostly sour but with enjoyable sweet aftertaste. Just like the gooseberries themselves. The tempting fruity aroma will make you taste it immediately. And then you decide if you love it or hate it. It’s kind of a Marmite situation here. But we do love it, especially as an aperitif.
HOW TO DRINK GOOSEBERRY WINE
The possibilities are limitless when it comes to drinking this divine nectar. When accompanied with few ice cubes it becomes a great buddy for hot summer days. When heated to 60 °C (and don’t you dare to kill it by boiling it!) the smoothest and fullest mulled wine is created. No additional spices needed, nor recommended.
The gooseberry wine with its typical aroma and a moderate level of alcohol (11,5 %) is ideal for getting tipsy and relaxing.
FRUIT WINE AND FOOD PAIRING
It pairs well with almost any food, but our favorite combination is gooseberry wine with Mediterranean cuisine. You can even refuse a dessert and replace it with a glass of gooseberry wine.
Our gooseberry wine is most comfortable in a cool, dry, dark place. It hates direct sunlight, just like vampires. It will survive in your fridge several days after the grand opening, but we strongly recommend drinking it immediately because, you know, YOLO.
We use the good quality cork to keep the genie in the bottle. Therefore it will survive up to 12 months in your storage room. But do not keep him in there for that long or he will get bored.
